Speaking of Mother's Day and entrepreneurship, I have a very dear friend whom I have known for more than twenty years.
A seamstress and dressmaker by choice and necessity, but a nurse by profession, when she and her husband arrived in Mexico, they came with the purpose of studying and preparing for their future life, with a university degree and returning to their country of origin. Due to life circumstances and problems that are never lacking, they returned to their country and years later they returned to stay.
Several times when we talked, she mentioned that she would like to have her own fashion workshop. Little by little she acquired various machines that were necessary and useful in a business like that and with the help of friends and people who put it in their hearts to support her, she now has a good workshop. She already has the business that she once dreamed of.
Where school uniforms, graduation and church gowns, dresses, pants, blouses, skirts, etc. are made, as well as all kinds of clothing, as well as curtains, sheets, tablecloths, among other things, and even furniture is upholstered (armchairs, desk chairs, etc.).
Due to illnesses of her and two family members, she had to leave her job as a nurse. Now her dream is a reality! When you have faith and trust, and put God first, all things work together for the best. It didn't happen overnight, but now she even has two people working for her, plus her husband and children also help out, making this a family business.
Do you know someone like this? Someone who has been led by the vicissitudes of life to start their own business? Just like them, you too can make your dream come true and have your own business. Remember, among other things, that you should:
Have a business idea that you would like to implement.
Seek advice from people trained in these matters.
Find the financial resources to start it.
Make a list of the equipment needed to carry out the production, materials, hand tools, etc.
Getting your business up and running.
It's okay to dream! But it's not enough... Realizing that dream and making your clients feel satisfied with the product offered or the service you provide them is the greatest reward you can get.
