Fettuccine with shrimp

About the Recipe

Today's recipe is super simple

Ingredients

Protein :

1 lb of shrimp

8 pieces of bacon


Pasta :

12 oz fettuccini


Dip :

16 oz heavy cream

2 oz olive oil

1 oz salt

1 oz black pepper

1 oz minced garlic

4 oz butter

4 oz parmesan cheese

4 oz mozzarella cheese


Vegetables:

6 oz peas

6 oz carrots

4 green onions

1/4 white onion


Preparation

Today's recipe is super simple and not that laborious, it is a perfect dish for a special dinner or a movie night or even a dinner with the family. It adapts to all kinds of occasions, we will use a fettuccini type pasta, shrimp, bacon, peas and carrots and the one that cannot be missing, the parmesan cheese. Let's start with this recipe, the portion that I will give you for today is for 4 people.


We start by boiling water in a pot, add 2 oz of oil and 1 tablespoon of salt, normally you need a metal basket to put the pasta in and when the pasta is cooked, which is approximately 15 to 17 minutes, you can take it out. We put it in a container, pour cold water over it to prevent the pasta from sticking together, remove the water, add olive oil again, salt and black pepper, we also add 1/2 stick of butter in pieces and stir to melt the butter, with that our pasta will be cooked and seasoned.


For the carrot and peas, the first thing we should do is cut the carrots into small squares, but you can cut them to taste. We will use the water where we cook the pasta and also the metal basket to prevent it from watering or spreading and making it easier to remove them, we put them in the basket and let them cook for 5 minutes, we put them in a separate container waiting for the other process.


We put a pan on medium heat with a little olive oil and put the bacon to cook: Once it is well browned, we move it to another container and add 2 oz of butter, the onion cut into thin slices and the shrimp already cleaned and shelled, we add the powders, peas and carrots; we mix well and add a little olive oil, the heavy cream and let it boil. We add the pasta and the mozzarella cheese to taste, stir and to finish, we add the Parmesan cheese to thicken the pasta, with this it is ready.


For decoration, I like to use flat plates and for pasta in particular, put a tower in the middle, the bacon on top and finally, the touch of magic is the green chives thrown on top of the plate.
